Ayodhya is decorated to welcome Lord Rama on Deepawali. Today, for the first time, 11 thousand lamps will be lit in the Ramlala temple, on the other hand, 24 banks of Saryu have been decorated with six lakh lamps. These too will sparkle this evening.

CM Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel will visit Ramlala in the evening in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. After this, the lamp will be inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Meanwhile, Ayodhya has been sealed to follow the Kovid protocol. The entry of outsiders into Ayodhya has been banned.

Performance of women empowerment in Deep series

On the banks of Saryu, the series adorned with the message of women empowerment. Students of the Department of Arts and Fine Arts of Avadh University have shown episodes of Ram Katha with lamps.

Ghat number two has a message of social harmony and women empowerment in the main highlights. Lord Shri Ram’s Pushpak Vimana, returned after 14 years of exile at Ghat number three, has been prepared with lamps. The image of Hanumanji flying with the mountain on Ghat number five is shown. On the other side, the painting of Shri Ram Durbar has been made on Ghat number 10.

Green Corridor built

According to DIG Deepak Kumar, the entire Ayodhya is being monitored with a drone camera. A large number of police forces are deployed. Route has been diverted to 12 locations in Ayodhya itself. A special green corridor has been built for ambulances and patient vehicles.

Main Events of Deepotsav 2020

  • Chief Minister Yogi and Governor Anandiben Patel will arrive at Ayodhya Airport at 3:00 pm.
  • At 3:30, the Chief Minister and the Governor will light the first lamp in front of Ramlala.
  • The Chief Minister and the Governor will leave for Ram Katha Park from Ram Janmabhoomi complex at 4:00 pm.
  • Ram will welcome Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita at the Katha Park. There will also be a coronation.
  • 5:00 pm Chief Minister and Governor will perform Aarti at Saryu Ghat. After this, he will don a lamp on Ram’s foot.
