The government has canceled the CBSE Class 10 exams amidst ever increasing cases of corona in the country. These examinations were to begin on 4 May. Apart from this, exams of class 12 have been postponed for the time being. The government will decide on this on 1 June.
This decision was taken after the high level meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the well-being of the students should be on priority for the government. The central government will take care of the interests of the students and decide that their health is taken care of.
After the cancellation of the exam, many kinds of questions are coming in the mind of the students of 10th standard. How will this decision affect them? Are there some disadvantages of being promoted to the next class? With the help of experts, we know the answers to these questions.
On what basis will the stream pick in the 11th?
According to Actor Dhruv Banerjee, most schools across the country have pre-board examinations in online or offline mode. In such a situation, students can choose their stream based on the marks found in the pre-board. Apart from this, students can also choose the subject in the 11th depending on their interest. Therefore, along with Marx, the choice of children can also be an important role in subject selection. Also, keep in mind about your goal while choosing the subject. Do not choose the subject by looking at someone.
How much risk of teachers’ favorite students to students?
After the cancellation of the class 10 examination, it is possible that the result of the students will be released on the basis of internal. However, not much information has been given about the result’s criterion from the board right now. In such a situation, if students are given marks on the basis of internal, then there will be less risk of favoritism of teachers, because it is not necessary that all teachers are bypassed.
Will the student who failed in the internal exam pass the general promotion?
At present, no information has been given about any criterion from the board regarding the 10th result. Board Controller of the Board, Samyama Bhardwaj said that after the criterion for the result is decided, its information will be shared. However, students unhappy with the result prepared under this criterion can appear in the examination to be conducted later by the board.
