In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Central Government has canceled the CBSE Class 10 examination starting on May 4 and the 12th examination has been postponed for the time being. The government will decide on the 12th examination on 1 June. If it is decided to take the exam, it will be decided only after June 15.

Madhya Pradesh: 10th-12th examinations will now be held in June
In Madhya Pradesh, the infection of corona is increasing continuously. In view of this, the 10th and 12th board exams to be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education have been postponed for a month. Now the exam will be held in the month of June. Its detailed revised examination schedule will be released soon.
The examination was to begin from 30 April and 1 May 2021. Orders were issued by the Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday to postpone the board examination for a month. As per the order, the Board of Secondary Education will now conduct High School, Higher Secondary, Higher Secondary (Vocational), Diploma in Pre School Education, Physical Training Examination now in the month of June. This examination will be started in the first week of June and will be conducted till the last week. Detailed revised examination schedule for this will be released soon.
Rajasthan: 10th-12th examinations postponed, promotion on 8th, 9th and 11th
Hours after the decision to cancel and postpone the CBSE examinations, the Rajasthan government has also postponed the board exams for class 10th and 12th. A decision will be taken later on when these exams will be conducted. Education Department’s proposal to postpone the board examinations was approved by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
With this, the state government has decided to promote students of 8th, 9th and 11th directly to the next classes. The Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations in Rajasthan were scheduled to begin on May 6. At the same time, the 8th board pattern exam is also starting from May 5. These exams have also been canceled.
Chhattisgarh: 10th board examinations postponed, decision on remaining
The government of Chhattisgarh has decided to postpone the 10th board examination on 9 April. The examination was scheduled to begin on April 15, but it has been decided to postpone the exam in view of the increasing graph of corona infection in the state. The board has not yet released the new dates of board exam.
New exam dates will be announced after considering the state of infection in the state. The 12th board examinations are to start from May 03, in which no information has been released.
Himachal Pradesh: Graduation examinations postponed till May 17 in addition to 10th and 12th.
The Himachal Pradesh government has postponed the graduation examinations of the Board of School Education in 10th and 12th grade colleges and colleges till May 17. A review of these exams will be taken after a review on May 1 at the government level regarding the condition of Corona.
These examinations of the Board of Education began on 13 April, but have been postponed two days later. While Himachal Pradesh University graduation level examinations were to start from 17 April. Education Secretary Rajiv Sharma has issued orders in this regard.
Uttar Pradesh: 10th and 12th exam date extended
The Uttar Pradesh government has also extended the board exam date. The 10 board exams in the state were to start from April 24 and end by May 10. Now, the new dates of class 10 exams are 8 May to 25 May. On the other hand, it has now been decided to conduct the 12th examination to be held from April 24 to May 12 from May 8 to May 28.
Punjab: Changes in 10th and 12th exam dates
The Punjab School Education Board has also postponed the exams for class 10th and 12th. Earlier, the Class 10 board examination was to be held on 9 April. Now the new date is May 4 to May 24. On the other hand, the 12th examination was to be held on 22 March and now there are new dates – 20 April to 24 May.
Maharashtra: 10th and 12th exam postponed
The Maharashtra government decided to postpone the exams for class 10th and 12th. Earlier, the Class 10 exams were scheduled to be held from April 29 and were to end on May 31. On the other hand, the 12th examination was to be held from 23 April to 29 May.
Gujarat: The Gujarat State Board is likely to reschedule the exam date. Earlier, the dates for practical exams were released on the official website.
Haryana: Board exams are to be held in the state from April 22 to May 12. The government has not taken any decision on this yet.
Delhi: The state government has postponed the Class 9 and Class 11 exams. The new date has not been announced yet.
Jharkhand: Board exams have not been postponed in the state.
West Bengal: The state board exams will be held in June and will be over by the end of the month.
Uttarakhand: The state board has no plans to cancel the exam. The exam is scheduled to be held in May.
Odisha: State Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Dash said that the exam would be conducted as per the schedule.
Telangana: The Telangana board examination has not been postponed yet and the exam will be as per the scheduled schedule.
Andhra Pradesh: The AP Board examinations will be as per schedule and there are no plans to re-conduct the exam.
Kerala: The state board exam will start from April 26.
Goa: The state board exam will be held from April 24 to May 8.
Assam: According to the schedule, there will be the Assam board examination.
Arunachal Pradesh: Examination in the state will be as per the schedule.
Karnataka: The state board examination will be held in June and there will be proper seating arrangement to ensure social distancing rules.
Manipur: The Manipur board exams are scheduled to be held from May 5 and will be concluded on June 9. There are no plans to re-conduct the exam in the state.
Meghalaya: The state board exam will be held from April 19 and the government has not said anything about postponing the exam.
Mizoram: The state board exam will be as per schedule.
Nagaland: Nagaland State Board Examination will be as per schedule.
Sikkim: The state has not taken any decision on changing the exam date.
Tripura: The state board exam will be as per schedule.
Tamil Nadu: The State Board has decided to postpone the 10th board examination.
