As soon as the Prime Minister arrived at AIIMS on Monday morning, P Niveda, a nurse from Puducherry, was on duty to get him vaccinated. Niveda applied him with Bharat Biotech’s covaccine. Kerala nurse Rosamma Anil was also present to assist Niveda. Both these nurses have been working in AIIMS for the last few years.

The hospital staff was informed about the Prime Minister’s arrival at AIIMS at the last moment. Because of this, the atmosphere was severe. The Prime Minister knew that the staff would be under stress due to his arrival. He immediately started a conversation with the nurses to reduce stress. The Prime Minister asked her names and knew where she is from.

After this, the Prime Minister jokingly asked if she would use the needle used in Veterinary. The nurses denied this, but they could not understand why the Prime Minister is asking such a question? The Prime Minister immediately said- ‘Leaders are thick skinned. So asked if any special and thick needles would be used to vaccinate. ‘

On hearing this, the nurses laughed. The stress of the nurses had vanished. After this, the Prime Minister also took photographs with nurses Niveda and Rosma Anil.

The Prime Minister spoke to the nurse – even gave the vaccine, did not even know.
Nurse Niveda later told the media that when we reached the hospital in the morning, we came to know that the Prime Minister was coming. After getting the vaccine, the Prime Minister told him – even put it, did not even know.

Modi said with folded hands twice – Vanakkam
Nurse Rosamma Anil said that today was the happiest day of my life, because we saw Modi getting vaccinated in AIIMS. He folded his hand and said to us – Vanakkam. Modi ji was kept in observation for 30 minutes after applying kovaxin. He did not feel any problem. He was quite happy. Half an hour later, when he was about to leave the hospital, he again came to us and folded his hands and said – Thank you, Vanakkam.

Nurse from Puducherry and Kerala, Gamcha of Assam; All three states have elections
The Prime Minister reached Delhi AIIMS with a sore throat of Assam. Here the nurse from Puducherry vaccinated him, during which the sister of Kerala was standing nearby. Interestingly, assembly elections are to be held in these three states from 27 March to 6 April.
