After meeting the government on Monday, the farmer leaders outside Vigyan Bhavan showed solidarity with their demands.

Tuesday is the 41st day of the farmers’ agitation against the new agricultural laws. On Monday, the 8th round of talks between the farmers and the Center were also inconclusive. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar asked what are the problems with the MSP. Farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chadhuni said – Government should guarantee MSP of all crops. The Agriculture Minister said – We are ready, you point out. We have to do our homework. The farmer leader said on this – 8 rounds have been discussed and how much time is needed. After the meeting was over, the Agriculture Minister said that the clap rings with both hands.

Farmers will take out tractor march on Wednesday
In the 4-hour meeting, the government kept repeating the change in laws. The farmers were adamant on returning the law. The next meeting is scheduled for January 8. Earlier, the farmers’ organizations would take out a tractor march on January 6 on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway.

Minister of State for Commerce spoke to some farmers in private
Besides Agriculture Minister, the meeting was also attended by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister of State for Commerce Som Prakash. After discussing the MSP, the farmers raised the demand to repeal the law. Tomar said – Let’s make a committee. Farmers said – no committee will be formed, cancel the law. Som Prakash took some leaders to shore and spoke. On which another farmer leader said, cancel the law. After this, Tomar said that there are many organizations and farmers in support of the law. We cannot cancel them just by listening to you.

Before the talks, the government and farmer leaders kept a two-minute silence for the farmers who had lost their lives, but this was all limited here. No further efforts were made to ensure that farmers do not die and a solution is found. This time also the farmers refused to eat government food. He told the ministers, you eat your food, we will eat ours. In the last meeting, 3 ministers had eaten langar food with the farmers, due to which the atmosphere was quite light.
