India: The government of India has allowed Metro’s across the nation to operate from September 7 under the unlock 4.0 guidelines. This news comes in after the request of Delhi metro because of the heavy losses they have been bearing throughout the lockdown.
The unlock 4.0 guidelines also states that there will be no lockdown outside of containment zones. So, that means almost everything will be opened as before.
Schools and colleges to stay shut till further notice. This decision was taken so as to look after the safety of the children because they are the future of the nation. But at the same time JEE and NEET are being conducted next month, though nothing is clear in it but it’s definitely giving sleepless nights to the students.
The Delhi Metro had recently announced their auto-top up metro cards which would automatically fill up the balance once the balance gets exhausted. This is a great initiative by the metro department as it will help reduce the crowd on metro stations and will help in smooth travel of the citizens.
All eyes are on the government regarding other major decisions like re-opening of gyms, movie halls etc.
