Jitanram Manjhi, Nitish Kumar, Sushil Kumar Modi and Mukesh Sahni of VIP after a meeting of NDA leaders on Friday afternoon in Patna.
After the results, the round of meetings in Bihar continues. Nitish Kumar met Governor Fagu Chauhan and recommended dissolution of the assembly. Earlier, the cabinet asked Nitish to dissolve the assembly. Here, the constituents of NDA met at CM House in Patna. After the meeting, Nitish Kumar said, “The NDA will meet again on November 15 at 12.30 to elect the leader of the legislative party.” On Sunday itself, the leaders of the NDA will go to meet the governor to stake claim to form the government.
Nitish Kumar, Vijay Chaudhary, Vijender Yadav and Ashok Chaudhary participated in this meeting on behalf of JDU. On behalf of BJP, Sushil Modi, Nityanand Rai, Sanjay Jaiswal and Jitan Ram Manjhi of Hum Party joined. Mukesh reached Sahni on behalf of VIP.
A day ago Nitish said- Janata is the boss
On Thursday evening, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had said that the public is the boss, the final has not been done yet. All the constituents will interact among themselves. The Legislature Party will meet thereafter. Only after negotiation will you decide what to do. The decision on the Chief Minister will be taken at the NDA meeting. Our campaign was for the entire NDA, but despite not being a candidate, only our seats were searched and the candidates were harmed.
All points of government formation will be discussed
NDA meeting will discuss all the points of government formation. This time the BJP is in the role of an elder brother by bringing more seats than the JDU, so there will be an attempt to agree on how many BJP ministers will be in the government. It will also be discussed in the meeting how many ministers of VIP Party will be there, how much will they play in the government.
There was a meeting of the NDA on the one hand to form the government and on the other hand it is being discussed in the grand alliance. The top leaders of the Grand Alliance are also eyeing smaller parties, especially towards HAM, VIP and AIMIM. AIMIM has won 5 MLAs.
NDA holds majority
The NDA won a majority by winning 125 seats in the elections held in 243 seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. The opposition Grand Alliance has got 110 seats. BJP got 74 seats, JDU 43 seats, RJD 75 seats, Congress 19 seats. CPI Male got 12 seats and others 8 seats.
