- CBSE will release the new date of results, now the results are possible only in July
The result of class 10 of the Central Board of Secondary Education will no longer come on June 20. This result is possible to be announced in July. CBSE will release new result date. At present, the deadline has been fixed for uploading the marks of internal assessment of the students till June 30 while giving relief to the schools. In this regard, guidelines were issued by CBSE on Tuesday.
CBSE Controller of Examinations Dr. Syam Bhardwaj has said in a letter issued to the heads of schools affiliated to CBSE that CBSE has given highest priority to the safety and health of teachers. Keeping in mind the epidemic in the states, lockout of schools and safety of teachers and other staff members of affiliated schools, CBSE has decided to extend the dates.
Now CBSE schools will be able to upload the marks of internal assessment till 30 June. Earlier, CBSE had set the last date for May 20. “The portal’s availability by CBSE for uploading of marks will remain till June 30, the dates may be set by the Results Committee for the remaining activities.”
After this new exercise of CBSE, it has been decided that the result is now possible only in July. Earlier, CBSE had fixed the date of declaration of results on 20 June. Accordingly, a time-bound program was also issued to schools to prepare the results, but a new program has been released in various states of the country including Rajasthan due to the spread of corona infection and teachers not reaching schools and school closures.
Significantly, the government had canceled the CBSE Class 10 exams in the country due to the ever increasing cases of corona. These examinations were to begin on 4 May. Apart from this, the exams of class 12 are currently deferred. The government will decide on this on 1 June.
